Come from a non-smoker and no house pets. paired with my turntable and my B&Ws. The sound is big and warm. For the quality its fantastic.
The 8100 is the entry-level Plinius Integrated amplifier, which retailed
for $2495. It is an amplifier for the two-channel music and audio
enthusiast. It's designed solely for amplifying music - there are no
extraneous features and it does not "light up like Las Vegas".
This has the silver faceplate, comes with a simple, but hefty
power cord. If you're looking for one, then you
know how well-built it is and how wonderfully full it sounds in the midrange
for a solid-state amplifier.
Four line-level outputs are available, plus two tape
loops. There are separate Source and Record controls, so you can listen
to one source while taping another. The back panel has lovely
gold-plated phono sockets and a double helping of hefty gold-plated binding
posts - which can make bi-wiring easier. Also, on the back is a small
mute button.
The 8100 also includes preamp-out sockets. Why would you
want to use these? You can passively bi-amp speakers using another power
amplifier.
