Selling off a few pieces of equipment to partially fund another. (Imagine THAT here!)
150 watts into 8 ohms, "almost double that into 4 ohms" - a direct quote from Primare when I inquired about its 4 ohm rating. The owner's manual is that sparse. I assume nothing with that response, but I would venture well above 200 watts into 4 ohms.
Along with my B. A. T. VK 3i tub preamplifier I've been using this excellent amp with my Thiel CS3.5 loudspeakers to good effect. (Primare is built from the ground up, no out-sourcing of chips and whatnot.) As you may know already, Thiel models virtually all have a reputation for being "power hungry", a reputation that IMHO is ill-deserved considering their overall awesomeness at the levels I listen at. Very, very conservative. I purchased this new from Audio Den in beautiful downtown Lake Grove, N.Y, just around the corner from where I live. I am the sole/original owner.
There isn't a BlueBook history on this, and my price INCLUDES PayPal and shipping/insurance fees. I simply don't get why other sellers feel it necessary to tack on additions. Continental U.S. only, and it will be UPS.
The first two photos here are from the web. I will post photos of the actual price sometime very soon.
I have 100% positive feedback here as a buyer and a seller so buy/inquire with confidence.
Thanks for looking
