Quad 66 Audiophile Preamplifier

In great condition, no noticeable marks.  Fantastic Quad 66 preamplifier, which Gramophone magazine called Quad's best product next to their electrostatic loudspeakers. This is the preamplifier with the tablet sized remote, which has analog looking volume and balance controls, and a layout so beautifully done that you don't have to squint to see the buttons. The joy of using this preamplifier is because it comes with the most intelligently designed tone controls for the music lover. It features Quad's famous tilt controls and filters, all remotely accessible with a push of the button. Recording sounds too bright? One push of the tilt or filter button, and you get the meaning of Quad's logo "Closest approach to the original sound".  The soundstage is about the best that I have heard, and I have tried a lot of preamps in my system.

This is a modern solid state design with signal to noise ratios over 100dB on any line input. It comes with a fully functional moving magnet stage. It is noiseless in operation and sounds absolutely terrific when coupled with any modern solid state amplifier or tube amplifier. The matching Quad 66 tuner and 67 CD player can be operated from the tablet, in case you have those already.
