REDUCED TO $1150! This is a 'set and forget' purchase... at almost 1/3 retail! You will not have any regrets with this amplifier. Selling due to impending move and won't be able to listen to music for the foreseeable future. Hear and enjoy what cutting-edge Class D is truly capable of...

The Primare A34.2 amplifier significantly changed what I formerly thought of Class D. Having experience with amplifiers using B&O ICE modules, Hypex and others, I always appreciated the extreme clarity, extension and bass control of this technology. However, like others have felt, the overall sonic signature could be a little flat and sterile. The Primare changed that. The A34.2 is Primare's proprietary 'UPFD' design -- no off the shelf modules.  It was developed from the ground up to be Primare's new amplifier technology, and as I understand it will be their design of choice for future amps.

The A34.2 has everything a great Class D amp offers compared to typical Class A or A/B amps -- lightweight (although the Primare is handsomely robust looking and feeling), extremely efficient with low power consumption (I left it on all the time, which is recommended) and negligible heat generation (allowing for placement in enclosed quarters if needed). Where this amp differs from it's Class D competition is what counts the most -- the sound! Absolutely SUMPTUOUS midrange and a holographic, reach-out-and-touch-it dimensionality. And like all good Class D amps, the A34.2 has impeccable authority on bass quality, airy highs and toe-tapping PRAT. The overall presentation was simply revelatory and immensely enjoyable and musical. Had an audiophile buddy with an all-tube system over for a listen and he even liked it. For those of you with similar previous Class D experiences as mine, I invite you to hear what this amp can do. Sonically it combines the best of Class D attributes with the best of Class A/B.

I'm the original owner, purchased from an authorized dealer. I'd rate it a very conservative 8. For all practical intents, it's as-new. In full disclosure as an honest and upstanding seller, I've taken a couple pictures of the only things I noticed. There is the faintest scratch in the top case toward the back, not seen unless in the right light, and there is an almost imperceptible mark on the right side. I had this amp displayed prominently and it looks as-new. Any other apparent flaws in the pictures are just dust or particles picked up by my camera. Functionally perfect.

Included with the amp are all original packaging and materials.
