When ISIS/OSIRIS were reviewed by The Absolute Sound, Chris Martens the reviewer elected to purchase the review samples rather than the reviewer norm of arranging for free return back to the distributor. Stereophile likewise gave the Osiris it's highest "Class A" recommendation, concluding their write-up with the words: "Welcome to the big leagues, Rega." Stereophile called the Osiris an "eerily effective soundstager".
  
The OSIRIS is rated at 162 wpc into 8 ohms and 240 wpc into 4. It is a VERY high current amplifier with a minimalist circuit, custom capacitors and power supplies designed to drive the most awkward of speaker loads while offering lifelike dynamics and control.
