SANSUI AU-11000 INTEGRATED AMP (NEAR MINT)

You are looking at a completely refurbished Sansui AU-11000. Included in the rebuild are all new Audiophile capacitors throughout the amp, Including the Power supply caps along with ultra fast soft recovery rectifiers. All diodes were replaced with mill-spec units. Pre-driver, driver and many other transistors were replaced with new higher end transistors. Any marginal resistors were replaced with Takman, Vishay/Dale, Kiwame and Riken audiophile resistors thought the unit. The driver board mylar caps were replaced with Audiograde Polypropelene film Capacitors and precision multi-turn potentiometers for the Bias and DC Offset. Any small value electrolytic capacitors were replaced with much smoother hi-end film caps in both the phono section and all other boards. Every switch and control was disassembled, cleaned and lubricated along with a new balance control.The work was performed Feb. 2017 by Avatar Engineering and the cost of the service was over $800 and is ready for another 40 years of beautiful music. This is a true collectors item and sounds as good or better than most modern $5,000+ integrated amplifiers especially the phono section which rivals our $10k Threshold Reference system. Please bare in mind that these integrated amps are selling world wide for up to $1800 for units that are 40 years old (Time Bombs!), which absolutely must at least be recapped if not rebuilt.
