Hello fellow enthusiasts,

Up for sale
is a Sherbourn PT-7030 7.1 channel pre-amp. 


I am the original owner.  This originally
retailed for $1,799. 



Sherbourn was bought out by Emotiva, which also makes some great direct sale
audio equipment.  I bought this pre-amp
from them new for $900 about 3 years ago when they were liquidating their newly
acquired Sherbourn inventory.  Recently I
upgraded for Dolby Atmos to run a 9.2 channel surround system, so I no longer
have use for the unit.  It has served me
well up until now.

The
unit is in near-new condition without any issues.  The first $385 gets it. 

It
has 6 HDMI inputs and 2 outputs.  It also
has balanced outputs, which is very hard to find for under $2000 in a surround
sound pre-amp.  This worked well for me
since I used a committed two-channel heavy duty amp for my main speakers that
has balanced inputs, and then a separate surround amp for the other 5 channels
that used unbalanced or RCA type inputs. 
This unit allowed me to feed the main amp with the more serious balanced
inputs while feeding all the other channels with the unbalanced ones.  The sound quality is fantastic in both stereo
and surround.
