Simaudio 860A Stereo Amplifier

Up for sale is what i consider is one of the best stereo power amplifiers under $15,000. This amp is a stereophile Class A recommended component (google the review). It has one of the smoothest sound signatures with lots of detail. There is zero listening fatigue with this amp and the bass control is phenomenal. i successfully drove martin logan electrostatics speakers, sonus faber olympics 3s and had more than enough power to give me all of the detail and clarity that i could ever ask for.
This amp never ran out of steam and it presents one of the greatest holographic sounds i have ever experienced. If you read my thread on one of the forums here you will see my impressions of this amplifier. I owned pass labs 250.8, 350.5 and i would say this amp is a combination of those amplifiers. It contains the massive bass from the 350.5 with the finesse of the 250.8. The issue with pass labs amplifiers is that they run very hot and if your room is small then it certainly warm things up a bit. That is not the case with this Simaudio 860a amplifier. This amp runs very cool regardless of how long you listen to it for. It is the perfect amplifier for those of you wish to have tons of detail, amazing bass control and punch and very little heat.
Having owned many power amplifiers (again, see my thread on the forum), this amp is at the top of my list in terms of quality, power, and detail. This is certainly a giant killer in disguise. i have owned the krell 402e, pass labs 350.5, classe 2200, classe ct600 monos, bryston 4bsst3, 4bsst2, krell duo 300 and NONE of those amps can compete with the balanced sound that this amp has. If you have been looking for a quality stereo amplifier that will bring the smallest details in your music like you have never heard before, then look no further. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
