One of the rarest of the Accuphase lineup. New selling price of $2550.00
This one is nearly flawless and has the optional A-10 cabinet, also in very good condition. The amp has been protected by the case for its whole life, so the body has no flaws and the face is an easy 8.5/10 too. It runs in class A or AB with the push of a front panel switch, 200 watts per at 8 ohms in AB, 50 class A. (300/80 into 4.) All in a (relatively) slim line form factor, acheived by the use of active cooling with a whisper fan on the rear panel. While not as absolutely quiet as a passively cooled amp, (please take note of this if you need absolute library quiet) this design really keeps things cool. No browned, heat stressed boards in this one.
It has been through a comprehensive service in Japan by a top Accuphase tech, caps, resistors, stressed transistors replaced, new multi turn pots, re-seating and greasing of the heat sink mounted components, cleaned and re-packed fan and bearings, etc. Just a ton of work and hours.
This particular amp was also opted with the screw down terminals, great for spades and bare wire.
Balanced/unbalanced inputs and true multi voltage operation, switchable on the back panel.
Super rare op in this shape.
I have a quality double box to ship it in, it's heavy at about 78 pounds in the case.
PayPal adds the fee. Shipping by UPS.
