Burmester 877 mkII upgraded Top-Line Preamp Great Condition Pure Class A Bliss!

This is the MKII upgraded version of an already miraculous 877.
Burmester 877 is probably one of the most successful designs ever from legendary Dieter Burmester.
If desired, it can be upgraded to MKII XLR at any Burmester dealer. Upgrade includes
internal wiring in Silver and new XLR-rear panel.

Burmester 877 is a piece of technological art from one of the most
respected names in high-end audio. Dieter Burmester wanted to set a new
standards in musical fidelity with this preamp and therefore only
highest quality component parts were used.
Burmester X-AMP Class-A
amplifying stages and two completely separate amplifying sections with
their own power supplies eliminate all distorting crosstalk between left
and right channel. All this leads to absolutely marvelous three
dimensional pinpoint accurate soundstage and highly enjoyable liquid
tube like sonics.

If you need a phono stage then an optional MC phono board is available for additional $300 (new price is 870 EUR).
MC phono stage is fully adjustable for MC cartridges with internal DIP switches. It is all explained in the owners manual. If interested I can also email you the PDF manual.

Current 877 is in great condition and shows very little usage only at extremely close inspection. I can’t find any scratch or visible wear on it.
Technically of course 100% working.

Present 877 has unbalanced (RCA) plus balanced CD and PHONO inputs (Mini XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) plus balanced (4pin XLR) outputs.
