The first review is on the STi-1000 was also a rave. The STI-500 basically sounds the same as the STi-1000 with 1/2 the power, 250 watts.

The STi500 amp puts out 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 500 watts into 4 ohm loads. It is fully stable into 2 ohm loads.

The remote controlled STi-500 integrated has remote phase switch as well as balance control. It also has a home theater multi-channel pass thru and loop thru capacity for an external processor. There are 4 sets of RCA inputs and one set of balanced inputs. There is also a set of RCA outputs to run a subwoofer. It also offers RCA to balanced conversion when RCA inputs are used.
