IT PRODUCES WELL OVER A SOLID 100 WPC. 36,000 MFD OF CAPACIDENCE, HEAVY LARGE TRANSFORMER. YOU CAN TURN THIS UNIT ALL THE WAY UP TO ITS MAXIMUM AND THERE IS NO SOUND, HUM, HISS ETC. IT`S DEAD QUIET. THIS IS A MEMBER OF THE FIRST YAMAHA IMPORTS AND CONSIDERED MUCH BETTER BUILT THAN THE FOLLOWING UNITS. VERY VERSATILE. There is a Yamaha CA 1000 for sale from Japan for $1,400 You will not have to spend a dime on this unit, it`s already been done.

David Wrubel Actually there was nothing wrong, he cleaned and tighten all connections and calibrating both sides of the amplifier. It`s like new. very very powerful and quiet.
