One of the most underrated preamps in existence IMHO. Huge soundstage, amazing dynamics, clean and lush at the same time. Mostly, its organic and musical with excellent PRAT. This particular unit is in excellent condition, I'll call it an 8/10 just to be safe, and it's tubed by a NOS Telefunken. It has the rare and beautiful Black Faceplate, and is in perfect functioning order. A terrific way to add a bit of warmth to your solid state amp without sacrificing its inherent slam or an excellent addition to a quality tube system.
