This is a beautiful vintage cartridge from the 80s. Sonus was well known name for high end manufacturer of cartridges and the Sonus Gold Blue S was their top of the line, for a price of $430.00 which was big money back then. This is a moving magnet with 4mV output, the stylus is special modified Line Contact Diamond tip. The frequency response is 20Hz to 45KHz. Recommended tracking force is 1-1.5 grams, this cartridge tracks beautifully, it sound fantastic with plenty of depth, great image and sound stage very warm and reach mid-range. The cartridge looks excellent under the microscope it look as it was played at most 50 hours. sorry for the poor quality photos. Continental USA shipping is only $9.50.
