Sony DVP-S9000ES plays SACD/CD/DVD

My dad passed away on the 17th of Feb. so I am in the process of moving all my test and audio equipment to my mother's house to continue my work there so it might take a little bit to answer questions. Please understand I am trying to move his stuff there and then move my stuff and it is a tough thing. This thing is built like a tank and many have had great things to say about it. Being a tech I can tell you they used some of the best electrolytic caps made and they even used very good OP Amps. In my opinion this is better than a lot of CD players and with the SACD ability would be best used for a player only but the video does work good for DVD's, not blueray. Don't be fooled by the new latest greatest audio players with the new whatever, it still comes down to the best parts and build for audio and this one has that to a very high degree. That is why the upgraders love this unit. I DO have the remote for this unit but not the original box sorry. As you can see from the pictures the inside is killer and has one of the best transformers for digital made. It has 2 outputs RCA's, 2 older single video, 1 component video, 2 S-video, 1 digital and 1 optical outputs. It has a IEC and if I remember I will send a cheap 3 wire power cord. Again, as you can see I hope from the pictures the the face looks great but the top has a few scratch places on it. All the lights work and it plays great with everything I put in it. It weights about 35 pounds but that is a guess. It has that easy to see copper coating that helps with noise. I have to say I was surprised by the sound and it is a very easy unit to upgrade especially in the audio section for those who want to give it a try. The reason it does not have those hard to unsolder and solder service mount OP Amps. I will be glad to answer all questions and no worries with this one as I do not sell junk or non-working stuff that I do not how to test, RIGHT.
