Sony SCD-777 ES (extremely low hours)

The Sony 777 ES (not the lesser XA model) is one of the finest disc players ever made. Spending $10k on an Esoteric player is about the only way to match the performance of this transport (it weighs 55lbs for a reason).

The player being offered has extremely low hours of usage. We are selling the unit for the Pacific Northwest Audio Society (the player is owned by the club, to which we belong). The original owner used the unit for 2 years and donated it to the club. The club meets once a month for 2 hrs and the player was used at approximately 35% of the meetings. If you're one of the many who is searching for a 777, this thing is essentially coming out of a time capsule and for a bargain price.

There are a few pinpoint blemishes and one small scratch on the outside, but otherwise the condition is excellent. Mechanical operation and playback is flawless.
