Purchased 9/16/11, with transferable Squaretrade warranty good until 9/16/2014.
Purchase price of $1200 includes the Sony SCD-XA5400ES SACD Player and extra laser assembly.

I had purchased the unit thinking I would have it modified by Modwright but have since moved in another direction and will not need SACD capability. It sounds fantastic in stock form, but has the option for improvement via Modwright or VSE modifications.
The unit has been in my rack since purchase and removal from the box, and is in perfect condition.
According to CDW's website: "This product was discontinued as of Thursday, February 09, 2012. Call for availability." They are getting harder and harder to find, and all the sellers listed under Google search are out of stock, so anyone interested in getting one should act now, whether you plan to get it modified or not.
