This is a mint version of the "flagship" Sony SCD-XA777ES SACD Player. On Stereophile's Class A list for several years it's arguably one of the best SACD players made. The build quality on this player is simply outstanding. At 36lbs, everything on this machine is first class including extruded aluminum side rails, copper plated ground planes, premium drive and components, dual C-core transformers and triple, stacked DAC's. The transport is so smooth it makes everything else seem like it's got gravel in it. I am original owner and it has less than 500hrs on it. Perfect cosmetic and operating condition. Remote has a "point dent" in the front, upper right corner, but is only "flaw" that I can find. This player is worthy of a glass top! I think this player will hold its own on Redbook and CD with just about anything near its price and the build quality is without peer IMHO.
