I bought this Soundsmith Aida moving iron, medium compliance cartridge from Music Direct a few months ago. It has approximately 60 hours on it, which means it probably isn't fully broken in yet. It has a bold yet detailed sound with a wide soundstage. These cartridges are handmade by Soundsmith. The SMMC1 (lower priced acrylic version) was highly praised by Michael Fremer in Stereophile. Still under 1 year warranty from Soundsmith until October 2012. Soundsmith's customer service, warranty repair, and retip services are excellent. Retails for $1,000. Includes original box, mounting screws, data sheet, and stylus brush.
I will include free shipping anywhere in the continental US via UPS. Feel free to email with any questions. Paypal add 3%.
