The legendary performance and value these cables have held since being introduced is amazing. I originally ordered these as bare wire to partner with Magnepans. Banana connectors were installed making them easier to work with different speakers. Connectors are easily removed if you choose. Cables are in excellent condition and were purchased from Upscale Audio 10/2014.

| I just resurrected a Marantz 2245. It has the very old bare wire connectors. You push on the connector and slip the bare wire into a narrow hole. If you are familiar with this, do you think the bare wires will fit. You can google the 2245 and see pictures. Also, are the bananas easily removed from either end? Hard to tell by the pictures I see on the internet but I believe that the bare wire cable would work. The banana connectors are easily remove with a screwdriver. The are two screws per connector holding the bare wire in place |
