This is your opportunity to get $10,000 class speaker cable performance for a fraction of the cost. There aren't many products on the market that cost less than the $10k than the benchmarks that actually outperform the likes of Valhalla.

Many high end speaker cables create the illusion that they are revealing details that other cables are missing or veiling. By engineering cables to place an emphasis on certain "edge" frequencies that make higher frequencies pop out this throws off the natural and true tonal balance. Finding a truly neutral cable is the first step towards being able to hear what is or isn't going on with the other cables and components in your system. If the speaker cable is coloring the signal it's pretty hard to tell what other things are happening and where the coloration and distortion is coming from. It is when the tonal balance is off that has audiophiles turning the volume up to hear other things that are being overshadowed. The best way to evaluate balance is at lower volumes that make it harder to hear lower volume sounds that are out of true perspective.

Knowing which order to audition and make comparisons to wire in a system can be a real catch-22. If you do a bunch of comparisons on interconnects before upgrading speaker cables and decide on a clear winner, you make a choice without really being able to hear the super low level details that might be hiding harshness or edginess. Then you get a higher end speaker cable and because it is more transparent you'll be hearing that harshness and edginess you couldn't hear at all with the inferior speaker cables you had. Most people will arrive at the conclusion that it's the speaker cables that are the crap, and they are completely wrong. Consulting with people I was always amazed at how many people do extensive comparisons on interconnects with very weak speaker cable. This cable makes the perfect reference tool to start the process of truly being able to hear the differences in interconnects. I have had many audiophiles with ruthless reference systems that consider this cable to be an invaluable tool for side by side comparisons, especially when trying to determine whether an edginess is coming from their speaker cable or an interconnect.

The key here is to start with a known entity that has ultimate levels of transparency, yet is perfectly neutral. Once you have that everything you hear upstream from there is exactly what it is without any coloration added by that speaker cable. Now when you start with a cable like Valhalla it might be too much because it is emphasizing edgy harsh upper frequencies that hurt your ears. An upstrean interconnect that has an edginess gets that emphasized by the preamp and amp both, and by the time it gets to a speaker cable that emphasizes those frequencies it makes your ears feel like they are bleeding after half an hour. Edgy cables are the culprit behind a system that tends toward listener fatigue. This cable, because it is so neutral, can allow you to hear these faults coming from the interconnects without them being blown off the far end of tolerance. I have had many customers that have far more expensive speaker cables that find these to be more relaxing and easy to listen to for long periods, who will go to these for critical listening to components or interconnects.

I've been selling this cable off and on for several years now, mostly on Audiogon, always with a money back guarantee. Not one single person to date has ever asked for their money back. At first I would hold my breath when audiophiles with $100k systems and $10k speaker cables were trying it, but it quickly became apparent that this is better in side by side comparisons. Now in some systems there might be a preference for the coloration that another cable has, but this is the true reference for a transparent cable that does nothing but sound natural, and that used as a reference can help you identify interconnect coloration that might be changing the sound a bit too much.

It's been awhile since I used Audiogon, and there are new seller rules that make it harder for me to just give contact information so we can talk. The normal procedure here would be for me to state the price per foot, tell you how much you'd need for say an eight foot set (x4) so you would need 32 feet, or 40 for a ten foot set, and multiply by the per foot price. The price on cable length sets will be $20.00 a foot, or $640 for 8 feet, or $800 for 10 feet. I'll explain bi-wire and shotgun use in the ad for an 8 foot set, along with some other cable logic information. I have written excerpt chapters of a book I'm writing on system synergy, and how the logic behind the importance of cables becomes easier to understand once you look at the overall signal path in order. I make an easy to understand case for why cable is actually more important to the quality of the sound than the components. By that I mean to say that modest equipment with extreme cable sounds better than extreme components with weak and inferior cables. I have proved that over and over in demo systems of different price points.

This is a military grade cable that the government spent ludicrous amounts of money developing, and for those projects that use it, it costs well over $250 a foot. I tried to see about getting it manufactured for me and was told it would cost at least $50 to $70 per foot, and that I'd have to order at least 50,000 feet, but that there would be no way for them to check whether they had replicated the voltage loss or zero field effect distortion. So when the last 2000 feet or so I have left is gone it's gone. I have never seen any cable that has the build complexity or manufacturing care that this has. It is truly unique.
The design parameters and objectives had to do with the lowest cable loss possible which would affect transparency, a total lack of field affect distortion, which affects tonal balance or a lack of coloration, and shielding that protects electronics from the electronics disabling magnetic pulse that is created when a nuke is detonated. This is ultimate level shielding done in such a way that there is virtually no coloration, distortion, or RF degradation. This cable can be wrapped around magnets, power cords, power supplies, whatever, and there will be nothing but dead silence free of unwanted stray frequencies.
The speaker cable design conundrum is that insulation and shielding equates to coloration and distortion. Minimalist insulation and jacket designs are prone to problems with ground and RF distortions. One thing I will point out is that the cable has such a neutral tonal purity and transparency that even the simple addition of silver solder on the bare ends can wipe out the perfection of the relationship between frequencies. I do have the ability to run a credit card through my wife's veterinary business, but she wants the card fees paid for, I think she's adding 3% to cover that. Shipping is $15 for Priority. I'll be putting other sized sets up so that we can talk and set the exact amount needed. Audiogon's fees are based on a sale, not the amount of the sale so buying a three foot set and telling me you want an eight foot set is the same thing, they just want to get paid for each sale, which is fine by me.

Buy this cable with confidence, read the feedback that has been posted, it is what it is. Guys have gotten this cable, and even immediately listening and comparing have said it smokes their cable even before it's broken in. The fact of the matter is that it is so good right from the start that it compares well. I can burn a set in with a cable cooker, this accomplishes what using it for a few hundred hours will, so you will get the best it has to offer right from the start. I'll do this for an extra $20, it takes a couple of days to do that.
I am also sending a couple of hundred feet to be cryo treated, this process brings the temperature down to such an extreme degree that it actually condenses the molecular structure to the point where it is altering the actual molecules to another material that has much better conductive properties. I got one of the best cable cooker on the market because cryo treating can make cables sound bad until they are broken in, I haven't checked this out yet but figured I better break in cryo treated cables just in case, it does make regular ones better from the start.
Please feel free to contact me, I can cover more ground in half an hour about your system than I can with hours of emails. Look for Cable Sense 101, 103, and 105 for much more information on system synergy and the role cable plays in a system. It's based on pure common sense. Again, this is sold with a money back guarantee, and I have never even one time had anyone ask for their money back. Half the people trying it have ordered more sets for other systems or friends within a couple of weeks.

Questions for the seller
please describe the cable in more technical detail and why its "nuclear grade"
It was developed for weapons systems to the highest specs of any cable, close to zero cable loss, impervious to extreme RF/magnetic interference, no field effect distortion. The way it is constructed poses a huge technical difficulty, the number of turns everything is wound to is perfectly symmetrical and fits with the wind ratio of everything else. I tried to get it manufactured but it would have cost almost three million dollars.for 50,000 feet, and they would not guarantee it would be as good.
So it was made for the military? Who is the manufacturer?
I couldn't get any of the manufacturers that do government cable to acknowledge that. All I could get was an estimate to replicate the cable, it was a few million out of my budget. Having it isn't the problem, getting it is. Are you interested or just curious about what it is?
Hi, What is the wire gauge? What is the length you're advertising for $640.00?
The internal wire is 14ga, it doubles up the two for each speaker polarity so that one cable is used for each. Give me a phone number and I can explain a couple of things about how to use it as single shotgun or bi-wire. That's an 8 foot set of four cables.
I don't want to sound impertinent, but how did you come to possess such a valuable cable? I mean, I wouldn't want the police showing up at my door and arrest me for property I shouldn't have.
Surplus, equipment gets sold for a few hundred dollars that costs millions, half the time nobody knows what it is.
So with all the Q/A this simple mil- spec wire any us can purchase on EBAY. for much less than .80¢ per ft
You've got to be kidding, I had manufacturers look at this and none quoted under $70 a foot and that was for 50,000 feet. You are entirely wrong about whatever you believe this cable is. Feedback over the years I've been selling it speaks for itself. Not one person has ever asked for their money back. What is it with you, you've had an attitude from the start?

Since cables go through a break in period I expect that they be given the chance to be used for a couple hundred hours. Also soldering ends or terminations can radically alter the neutral character of the cable. If it takes longer than 30 days to give them a fair chance I will still honor my money back guarantee.
