Acoustic Research AR3 Speaker Pair
VERY LOW SERIAL NUMBERS !!

These extremely RARE speakers are from the first batch produced in 1959, and are among the earliest remaining pairs in existence !!!
These speakers are ALL ORIGINAL, and have never been opened. Grille Cloth and Grilles are intact.
AR and "3" brass logo plates are intact.
All drivers work as they should. However, Level Pots are intermittent and exhibit some static when turned. This is common with older AR speakers- and if you are familiar with AR speakers, then you are very familiar with level pot problems.
Strong and solid mono center image. Wide and balanced stereo spread otherwise.
Cabinets appears to be Cherry and Unfinished, but both are stained to be very close color matches. Grain is different, but colors are very very close.
There are edge bumps, and scratches- however, nothing deep or beyond repair.

I can deliver these speakers to a "Pack and Ship" store with extensive experience in carefully packing and shipping large fragile vintage audio components (McIntosh, Marantz, JBL Horns, Altec, Klipsh, Marshall, Voxx etc).
The BUYER would contact the store and direct all packing and shipping arrangement.
The BUYER will pay the store directly for all packaging and shipping costs.
