The three-way Forte II was first introduced in 1989 and manufactured by Klipsch until 1996.
Compared to the original Forte, the II's tractrix midrange produces a more open, 3D sound. Its a vivid effect that produces a clean, somewhat forward sound field. Paired with a 12" active and 15" passive rear woofer things hold together at stellar volumes with a very clean, low distortion sound. The IIs sound has more in common with the Chorus. Forward and ultra-clean, with a wide dynamic character.
