I have a pair of rare Thorens BE-8 cabinets that are fitted with original Lowther PM6A drivers. I obtained these from a family member, who bought them new and was the original owner. Both drivers have been restored to operation with the Lowther Voigt improved suspensions (surrounds and spiders). These speakers work perfectly and are in remarkable condition, considering their age. I'm going to rate these as 7/10, due to the age of the speakers (the cabs have some nicks and bumps, but are in pretty good condition) - but obviously the real value here are the drivers. The sound-stage is breathtaking, in classical, jazz and vocal tracks; Especially opera. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask me.
