I will consider splitting them with the right offer. You may consider 1 as a stereo amp or you may want to add a 2nd one to your existing stereo Spectron to create a pair of 1kilo watt mono-blocks as I did.
These are the Spectron Musician III Mk2 mono-blocks with V-Cap upgrades, but each amp is still capable of stereo operation. I first used one amp in stereo and thought it sounded great, but when I added the 2nd amp, everything improved-soundstage increased left to right and front to back. Bass became firmer and tighter and the upper frequencies seemed airier and more dimensional. I am currently using them with Wilson Sasha speakers and a JE LA300ME all tube pre-amp. They just sound awesome.
These are small and don't really generate any heat. I have them in an open front and back cabinet on Omicron brass footers. Spectrons are not your typical class D amp in that they don't use a digital/switching power supply (like the ICE amps) but use a propriatary linear power supply developed by John Ulrich, formerly of Infinity Speakers. They put out over 1 kilowatt per amp and can handle the most difficult speaker loads without breaking a sweat. They will accept XLR and single-ended (which I use).
Unfortunately, I need to raise some money for a business venture so these, and eventually the rest of the gear will have to go. These have worked flawlessly since new. Please google for great reviews of these amazing amps.
These were picked up directly by me from Spectron in Chatsworth CA. about 1 1/2 years ago. I have the manuals and boxes.
