Spendor S3/5R in Rosenut Best of the 3/5s!

A change of plans and need for immediate cash for a non-audiophile toy (can you say "Ducati?") forces me to pass on these tremendous speakers. Not a mark on them in the lovely rosenut veneer. I have owned the original 3/5s, the 3/5SEs, and most recently these 3/5Rs. All driven by the same amp (Cary SLI-80 F1). To my ears as a pure Spendor fellow for now 30+ years, these 3/5Rs are easily the best of the 3/5s. Do a search and you will read why. Truly, and I must say this with no intended slight to the superb Harbeth counterparts to these 3/5Rs. These Spendors, selling here at less than half the price for what the Harbeths fetch, are a steal. My guess is that about half those doing a blind A/B test with the Spendors and the Harbeths would choose the Spendor. However, as is well known, these little beauties do need some current (40 good watts) to really sing! I am passing these on at a terrific price for a quick sale. As well, if purchased with "Buy It Now" option only, I will pick up the shipping in the lower 48! The speakers will be double-boxed as well to protect the original Spendor crate.
