Up for sale here is my personal AVC 3 shelf Metal Upright turntable
rack.

The shelf size is 18" deep x 23" wide and there is approximately 18" of album storage space on each shelf.

The bottom two shelves are 1" thick, American made ApplePly
birch plywood (17 ply and void free) with a 1/4" layer of charcoal black vinyl
cork on either side for a total of 19 vibration killing layers and a shelf thickness of 1-½.

The top shelf has been upgraded to 2.5" thick specifically for TT's. This increases the mass and vibration control capabilities for sensitive components.

The shelves make for an attractive, durable, non skid, slightly absorbing and self healing surface.

This combination has been
proven and really works well to increase the SQ of your system (please read our
Audiogon Feedback).

The shelf edges are natural brushed aluminum which I used to match my Clear Audio TT.

The uprights are clear anodized aluminum tubing that has
been mass loaded to further adsorb vibrations and add mass to the rack.

Total weight of this rack is approximately 75 lbs..

The rack is very stable and comes with 4 high quality adjustable
spikes and floor protector discs. The tubing and all hardware (except the spikes)
are non-magnetic.

I have rated this a 7 as it has three small indentations in the top where my turntable sat.

Mike, Sorry I haven't back to you sooner but I misplaced your phone number. Received the three shelf rack metal upright rack - Who ever packed it should get an award. Not too much trouble with assembly. I was initially skeptical if it would be any different from my pretty good existing rack. Your rack made a clear difference for the better. It was like changing a seat at a concert from the balcony to a 8 row front and center. I heard subtle things on records that I knew quite well. Certainly a wise investment on my part, I simply got closer to the music.
