Maple Source stand

After years of searching for audio cabinets, I became frustrated with poor sounding cabinets. While experimenting with different woods, none had the same effect as using  a massive maple frame that transfers unwanted nasty's to earth.

   Maple tops have a very nice sound, and tuned granite tops sitting on a maple frame have a slightly different sound. As you can see in the pictures, the tops are interchangeable giving you the flexibility to tweak the sound for your components. Try a maple shelf then try a granite shelf and choose which works for you or take both+$! 

   Audio furniture companies have chosen to weaken the structure of their stands since shipping has been a major factor in their design, I have made no short cuts, or considered design compromises. and no assembly will be needed. Those types of furniture are sold in discount stores. If it sounds better, then thats how my cabinets are built.                                                                                                                           

   The component cabinet up for sale is new, the top is 21" x 27".

   The bottom and middle shelves are 19" deep and 19.5' wide. 

   The height between the lower shelf and the middle shelf is 11".

   The height between the middle shelf and the top is 9.5".  

   Total height is 33" and is finished with 4 coats of satin lacquer. 

   This component cabinet is very strong with no movement, so your turntable will be on solid ground, so to speak.
