Mapleshade Avantgarde Duo Brass Stands Discontinued!!

Avantgarde Duo owners, this is your day.

These are the famous (among Duo owners) Mapleshade solid
brass stands for the Duos.

When you’ve been in the hobby long enough, you know that you
can’t get enough mass and rigidity in your framing.

Who knows what got into Mapleshade’s head when they decided
to make these, but we’re lucky they did.

It’s a pretty crazy project.These stands weigh in at about 100lbs each, and are wonderfully machined.

These ARE NOT MADE ANYMORE. If you have Duos or else PLAN to have Duos, this is likely the only set you may see of these come up for sale. You've been warned :)

I haven't polished all of their surface area, mostly due to the fact that the previous owner did a wonderful job of marking the connection points for easy assembly and I don't want to risk rubbing one of those off! :) But suffice it to say a good polish will buff these out to a gorgeous presentation. Being solid brass as these are, you can buff them as hard as you like, under the brass there is only more brass! Rated 8/10 for the fact that they aren't polished alone. These things will be gorgeous once installed and buffed up.

While I'd prefer local pickup, I'm willing to drive these to anywhere in the USA, for which the charge would be $300, considering I need to rent the vehicle and do the delivery myself. These are extremely heavy and while made of solid brass, a bad knock in a third party courier's hands would leave a mark that nobody wants to happen.
