Purchased NEW (sealed box) on April 22nd, 2016 (Will include original receipt). Purchased from AUTHORIZED B&W dealer.

Used only FOUR HOURS !!!......price is VERY fair & FIRM. B&W speakers NEVER go on sale.

Works PERFECT. I have 7 audio systems set up in my house. This was for my small, “Cape Cod” den. I very rarely use this system.

VERY rare…..on the used market, because the people that HAVE them…………….KEEP THEM!

Absolutely TOP RATED sub. Rated best-in-class, by many different audio/video mags.

REACHES DOWN TO 7 Hz !!!!! ……NO.... that is NOT a typing error. This sub uses dynamic equalization to extend the reach of how deep it goes. It plays EXCEEDING deep at low to medium volumes, and as the volume increases, it automatically adjusts the low reach, so it is always clean and distortion free. It also self protects itself, from over-excursions at higher volumes. I never tested this as it was never driven hard. All my gear, I never push, as I want them to last a very long time.

“The Bowers & Wilkins PV1D is the successor to B&W’s multi-Award-winning PV1, the ‘D’ denoting a digital upgrade that lets you fine-tune the sub with a wide range of EQ options.
Accessible via an OLED display plus a touchbutton interface mounted on the central band of its enclosure, the DSP both optimises the PV1D’s overall performance and allows for a degree of user-adjustable equalisation to suit different applications.
For example, should you want to use the PV1D in a 2.1 configuration, it provides preselected EQ modes to help integrate it with any one of six different types of B&W speaker.
The PV1D’s drive units (2 x 20cm) and amplification (400W) have been tweaked too, and the result, says the company, is a sub with all the speed and agility of its predecessor plus considerable additional bass extension.
