Most importantly, an integrated and refined DSP (digital signal processing) engine plus remote control and sound pressure meter means you can tune and tweak the Mezzo 9 to fit the type of audio you're playing, the room it's being used in and even its location in the room.
Two notch filters, boost options and dynamics can be dialed in to tailored perfection, with an audio source filter letting you choose the right presets profile to match your music, movies or videogames. And all this processing comes at an amazing price - the level of technology deployed in the Mezzo 9 is normally found in subs five times the price.
The audio excellence and controlled power doesn't begin and end with the Mezzo 9's DSP either. Two 8-inch CPC long-throw drivers sit back-to-back delivering serious bottom end, but without distortion or rattle.
The end result is a stunning home cinema subwoofer, with serious power and perfect control, at a surprisingly affordable price.
