I custom ordered, so no returns, a Gloss Black W15 and picked it from my local authorized dealer on 12/29/17.

I needed this sub to function a very specific way and it was so close, but it was designed to be used with either LFE from a processor or from a stereo preamp, but not from both in a single setup as I believed it would. I find this to be the most musical sub I have ever owned...it sounds phenomenal!! I have had JL F112s, F110s, E110s, E112s and D110s and prefer this sub for music! I would NOT be selling this sub if it functioned exactly as I needed it to.

In comparison with my more costly Aerial Acoustics and JL Audio speaker/sub system, the Gold 300 delivered about 95 percent of the performance of my Aerial Acoustic 7T floorstanders, but the W15 sub and FX surrounds beat my reference speakers. The single Gold W15 sub delivered greater bass impact but with the same level of bass accuracy as my twin JL Audio F110 subs. There's no substitute for chest-thumping 18Hz bass.
