Takaksuki TA-300B Vacuum Tube

This is probably the first new production 300B to in many ways exceed the performance of the WE 300B. The TA-300B’s now have over 250 hours on them and are sounding extremely good, extremely dynamic; excellent impact on drum heads, nice extension in the bass and treble. I am hearing significantly more low level detail. They are extremely quiet and very detailed and open without being bright or irritating. I found that with the black bottle Shughangs that certain massed violin records could at times sound a bit steely. The Takatsuki’s are not as lush in the mids as the Western Electrics but are more extended at both frequency extremes and probably more neutral. For sale are a matched quad with the original boxes and packing material. The price stated is per tube ($850). A pair is $1600 and the quad $3000. I will pick up shipping inside the continental US.
