I bought these @ 5 years ago. They were originally a 3 meter pair. I sent them to Tara Labs and they made them into two 1.5 meter pairs - at a cost of $4,100. Since I use mono blocks most of the time, I bought a 6-1/2 jumper cable (silver cable) @ 2 years ago, so I could put the monos close to the speakers. This cable cost $200. My cables and the grounding station look just like the ones in the picture in the Stereophile review dated 12/2006.
I have the original floating ground stations, cables and the original shipping container - looks like a hat box. I still have the box that Tara used to ship the cables back to me.
These are great cables and the reason I am selling is I am building a complete Audio Note system and I am reducing the number of "secondary" systems.
I have a bad habit of getting equipment and then immediately looking for something else, so nothing I buy gets much playing time. These have been in the back room for the better part of 3 years. I put them in every now and then when I buy new pieces. Between traveling and my bad habit, I would say that I have used these for 3 months since I bought them.
I will cover PayPal and shipping, FedEx Ground, to the lower 48. AK, HI and international buyers will pay shipping costs.
I will entertain splitting the pair, but in my experimenting with using different cables, I found using both pair, one between pre and amp and one between the pre and source was the best sounding.
Please folks, no stupid offers. As always, if you can't afford these, don't waste your/my time.
I have these listed in different places and will sell them where I can.
