Teac VRDS-T1 Needs a Good Home

The genuine article: The Teac VRDS T1 transport. Utilizing a motor-attached, CD-sized clamping mechanism to eliminate all mechanical instability, this is an excellent transport. Has both optical and coaxial outputs. The inner super-structure is entirely out of stamped copper.

Unit was re-calibrated by Teac in 2008. I have the original box, remote (which is not quite as clean the transport itself. Has been feeding my Accuphase DC-91 DAC (not exactly in the company of slouches.)

I'm only selling it because I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a VERY low hours XA7ES, and I'm moving soon, so I'm having to unload a LOT of surplus gear (Luxman R-1050 and L-530, Re-capped and beautifully modded Sony TA-E77ES and TA-N77ES [pre- and power amp], Sansui AU-719, and a BEAUTIFUL, serviced set of Tandberg separates [3002A, 3006A, and 3011A pre-, power amp, and tuner.])
