Technics SP-10 mk2 -Gorgeous-

There's no question SP-10 mk2 is one of the best table in the world. Even at 60% of its performance as I found on most mk2 I received.
My offering is your choice of new finish with updated electronic at 100% factory spec and performance.
So basically cosmetic of top surface is 10/10 indeed is better than the original
To do so, the unit must be first selected from the perfect mechanical condition such as bearing, magnetic drive and brake mechanism.

Pictures showed sample of basic cosmetic refinishing in metallic black and brushed stainless along with a comparison to the original finish. The actual unit is stripped and ready to be refinished to your spec.
The final coat is gloss acrylic enamel that polished to a mirror finish.
I have done many other finishes by request.

All electronic replacement parts are chosen from better components that can withhold 3 to 4 times life span the original parts.
All signals and clocks are checked and adjusted from point to point.
The strobe is replaced with RGB LED.
The PSU SH-10e also updated with all new caps and pilot light.
Please note, that the SH-10e offered is 110VAC supply only, for 240VAC you may have to use step down transformer, which is better to some countries in the way that most of modern step down act as first stage power surge.
I had built many universal PSU for mk2, but I don't think it's economical while you can get a decent step down for less than 50 bucks.

For some of you that don’t care about cosmetic, I may have some SP-10s in decent original finish (8/10) for $ 990. At this price will include all the works except body work.
