Technics SP-10 mk2 = The T-pod =

I've been trying to feature the T-pod here for the last 3 yrs. unfortunately each time a few made, they’re spoken for.
This time I managed to build quite a few extras, thanks to my help.

The T-pod is consists of "T" shape frame, a pod for the motor unit and 3 arm boards with their clusters.
The “T” frame and the clusters are constructed from stacks of birch plywood/acrylic. while the pod is all solid wood.
The frame sits on 3 brass spikes to isolate any vibration might occured from the outside .
This frame also holds 3 clusters for 3 arm boards along with another 3 adjustable cones where the pod with the motor unit of SP 10 nestled.
These cones dissipate any internal vibration from the pod.
The inner of the pod also lined with rubberized coat to further help dampened the source of vibration from the motor.
The pod is available in Maple, oak and cherry. Zebrawood, Padauk and Wenge also available as an option.
Finish is a non yellowing acrylic enamel to protect and keep the natural color of the wood.
Other than the left side, both arm boards can be adjusted to accommodate any tonearms from 9" and up and 9-1/2" minimum for the left side.
Arm board is constructed with plywood and acrylic. You can also use Microseiki arm board.

T-Pod available for sale by itself for $750 or with complete options $ 1100

As displayed, finished in brushed stainless without the switches
-All Electrolytic replaced, New crystal , LED mod.
-All mechanicals tuned, includes bearing, brake solenoid and switches etc.
- Cosmetic, practically new, that means no scratch, nick, ding scuff etc. Except the switch cover. But can be finished or left alone.
Finish is clear hi gloss enamel.
You may also arrange color of your liking as long as I can get the hold of the paint.

I had done hundreds of Sp10s and always take extreme measure on replacement parts and it’s application.
No mystery shortcut or surprises. Just original circuit design with better parts replacement.

You may purchase just the updated and refinished motor unit and it’s power supply only for $1250, but keep in mind that I have very limited supply nowadays.
And it’s getting harder to get it lately.
