Fusion plinths are custom made to furniture quality for the replacement of your stock plinth. Each is built on the same design philosophy, look beautiful and provide an upgrade in site and sound. The construction process is very involved and time consuming not to mention the costs associated with the various woods we use. Our plinth is constructed of 3/4", 13 layer Euro Birch ply. This is the finest quality hardwood ply available. We have a proprietary method of fusing the ply six layers thick, providing the ultimate in damping and rigidity. Our plinth is precision made so that your SP will drop right in with minimal effort. The arm boards are blank so that you can mount the arm of your choice. The arm's signal wires drop right through the bottom of the plinth, while the power cord is routed through the rear. The surface is bookmarked real wood veneer while the sides of the plinth are real, solid wood. Without giving away our secrets we are pleased to be able to offer them in a variety of custom finishes and combinations.

Upon first inspection you will notice the sheer mass in weight at approximately 35 lbs. With your SP-15 or SP-25 installed the weight will be 50+ lbs. And the shipping weight will be in the area of 56 lbs. We offer Vibrapod footers with each plinth because they just work and they are affordable, however there are other options available at an additional cost.

Where you're really going experience this upgrade is on the sonic level. Now that your SP is properly supported and damped the sound quality will be elevated several levels above what you've become used to. You will experience tighter, deeper bass notes as well as clarity of sound like a veil has been lifted.
