Top condition, 9/10. The Six Shooter, combined with a quality CD transport or multichannel SACD/BluRay transport such as the Oppo 95, will give you simply amazing sound by preserving the analog path from the transport to your amplifiers. I have since decided to sell my secondary system and therefore, I also have my CBIII processor for sale in another listing here which I had hooked up with the Six Shooter. All of my equipment is well maintained and cared for and in perfect condition.
Theta Digital Six Shooter robot analog 5.1 preamp is to be used with a Theta Casablanca preamp processor. This unit allows you to use your Casablanca I, II, III or IIIHD for multi channel 5.1 High Def Dolby True HD and DTS HD MA audio from a BluRay player, SACD or DSD 5.1 audio or as a pass thru for your analog phono.
Inputs and Output include- Balanced XLR and Unbalanced RCA. There are two separate sets of 5.1 multichannel inputs for support of two separate analog sources. The unit is about the size of a loaf of bread and meant to sit behind your audio gear / rack.
The input analog sources on the Six Shooter can be mapped to any of the CBIII's 12 source inputs, and even shared among several source inputs, allowing each source input to have it's own tweaked settings! With the CBIII, each of the 12 inputs is completely independent and allows for separate level trims, xover settings, xover type, speaker size settings, input trims, sound mode, amplifier switching, etc. It is like having 12 processors in one unit. Match that with a Six Shooter, a SACD/BluRay player and a high end 2ch transport, and you will need nothing more for your system, ever.
