Original owner of fantastic Thorens 125 Mk II turntable upgraded with high-end Sumiko Premier MMT-2 Improved Tone Arm. The Thorens uses a solid-state electronic motor drive system for stable speed assured with the built-in stroboscope and +/- 2% vernier speed control. It has a 7-pound two-piece non-ferrous turntable platter. Over the years I felt the supplied Thorens tone arm was limiting performance so I had it professionally replaced with the Premier MMT-2 tone arm. The tone arm has its own cuing lever that takes over the function of the control on the turntable. The turntable has a few scratches but it's in nice shape for a 30+ year old machine. I haven't been using it for the past 10 or so years but it has been stored in my home in a benign environment. It works fine but I'm selling it as-is because of age. Comes with custom TX-44 dust cover (shipped separately) and a Grado cartridge, plus an Audioquest Sorbotane turntable mat. Will be shipped in original box with manual.
