Stunning, classic Thorens TD-124 / II turntable with Ortofon RMG-212 tonearm. Considered by many to be one of the most musical turntables ever made. In fact many audiophiles prefer playing a TD-124 to their much more expensive modern turntable! This has the very desirable "rim drive" and is unique having a combination of belt and idler wheel drive. The TD-124 has 4 speeds, 16 2/3, 33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM. Excellent condition and ready to play! From late 1960's. Serial number 66523. We're including a used Ortofon SPU- Theadshell/cartridge gratis, although new owner will probably want to install a fresh cartridge for optimal performance. Looks to be all original!
