A complete transformation of the classic Thorens TD-160 to bring it to the next level. It starts out with the newly built heavy solid Brazilian Ebony plinth. It is larger, taller and much heavier than the original plinth for best vribration control. This is the best Thorens TD-160 out there. It is better than new. Cartridge is not included with the sale.
I also performed the following:
• Cleaned the spring system and bearing and made adjustment to spring tension.
• Cleaned switches
• Polished main platter
• Installed detachable power cord socket
• Install a set of RCA jacks so you can use your favorite RCA cables
• Installed ¾ inch Baltic birch bottom plate and finished with texture black.
The unit will be well packed to ensure safe arrival.
