Selling a threshold S150 series 2 no feedback amplifier.
The series 2 is 90 wpc and some people describe it as the best sounding of the S series. A wonderful Nelson Pass design with the musicality and dynamics in which Threshold are famous for.
Amp looks very nice and is in good condition .
The previous owner explained that the amp was tested and brought up to specs and upgraded as follows :
The bias circuit needed anew pot.
The channels are both adjusted to 720 ma a side, which is where they should be.Amp was rewired and got new rectifier, power supply caps, and you can see the new caps on the driver board.The new power supply caps are marked ADCOM,(they are 22,000 uf , which is double the original, as well as bypass caps on the power supply for improved bass) and are fresh(less than a year old).
Output current capability is 8 continuous, 20 peak amperes per channel.
