audiocraft ac-400 12" tonearm

AUDIOCRAFT AC-400 .  12"  TONEARM. Boxed . Complete  w/ manual & template.  Appears newish -- my guess is that it was never mounted -- or if it was, i did not stay mounted for a long time.  I have both 9" & 12" versions and sonically, they rival most modern tonearms at the sub- $2000 point and  adds the convenience of headshell interchangability. Once you experience , the convenience, of changing cartridges with just headshell change.. it is difficult to give this functionality.  No effective mass  numbers are given but this is clearly a medium mass arm and suits most modern cartridges. Outer  cardboard is frayed  and falling apart.   This would a astute choice for the savvy audio connoisseur.
