Purchased from a reviewer. This arm has been with me for a very long time and has functioned flawlessly.
The arm is complete, fully functional, in near mint condition. Some minor paint scratching to the manifold where the mounting jig intersects during setup. The litz wires are without kinks or pinches. The RCA junction shows minor stress cracks around the bolt holes.
All components are present, base mounting plate, lead weights , brass leveling weights, mounting hex bolt, almost new air line filter, and of course all screws/bolts and parts.
The Takatsuki SPP-6GA air pump was used for a short time then retired in favor of a different arrangement. New high pressure tubing included. Very quiet pump in near mint condition with very few hours.
The set up jig came with the arm for reasons unknown to me. I have never seen another.
This jig sets all parameters for the arm.
May be used during initial set up to drill the mounting hole with the T slider/adapter.
Then use it to set both front to back and side to side vertical position of the mounting post with the end attachment.
Now that the post is set, you can set cartridge overhang (scribed line) and azimuth with the slider.
This jig allows set up and adjustment of this great arm a breeze, even for first time users.
The paint on the aluminum shows some minor wear from age. Lettering is very good and the plastic sliders are of heavy design and are excellent without warps or distortions. Overall the jig is a solid 7/10 condition for visual and 10/10 for function.
Original box and packing shows wear and tape marks and would rate as fair condition. Original manual is in excellent condition.
