I'm the original owner of this Graham 2.2 tonearm. It was purchased new from Goodwin's High End (Waltham MA) in 2000 as a Graham 2.0 tonearm, then upgraded to 2.2 status by Goodwin's in 2001. The original ceramic arm wand is included.
Also included is:
1. a second, non-ceramic arm wand that was rewired with great-sounding Discovery wire. this arm has gold detailing (purchased used for $250)
2. a WallyTractor cartridge alignment tool specifically created for this tonearm (cost $95)
3. a Graham AZ-1 Azimuth alignment box (plug left and right phono cables in and adjust cartridge alignment with a mono record for maximum signal cancellation) (cost $150)
I used this tonearm between when I purchased it in 2000 through early 2017. It always worked flawlessly and provided great sound.
Cosmetically, it is in excellent condition. There are some minor marks on the top of the tonearm where cartridges have been screwed onto the tonearm (see scans). The ceramic arm shows minor wear on the bottom where the arm fits into the arm rest. Otherwise, I could not find any dents, scratches, or other marks / damage. The finish may be a little diminished from age and use, but it still looks excellent.
In preparation for this sale, the tonearm was examined by Goodwin's High End and verified to be in perfect operational order. The only service work they had to do was to top up the fluid in the hydraulic arm lift mechanism.
This tonearm is packed in its original box with all original paperwork (manuals, etc.) and materials (tools, cartridge screws, damping fluid - tube has been used but still holds enough for at least two fillings of the reservoir). For shipping, the tonearm box and other pieces are packed in a strong and safely packed outer box.
Please ask if you have any other questions.
