This Wilson Benesch ACT-2 tonearm was like new when I packed it15 years ago. I just looked at it again, installed it for a few days in an SME cutout (with a home designed brass SME adapter plate), and packed it again. It is still like new. Considered by many to be one of the top 5 tonearms of all time. Do a Google search. It is 100% carbon fiber with a unique bearing design utilizing 3 ball bearings. Designed to be used with a moving coil cartridge, but effective mass is a somewhat light 9.0 grams. PERFECT for a Dynavector 17D3, or other higher compliance MC, or any MM cartridge. This is a very non-resonant tonearm from the properties of the carbon-fiber. FIRM $999 is $200 lower than the Blue-Book used value.
