This was Toshiba’s flagship HD player which offered better 1080p video and high-definition audio performance than Blue-Ray. It also plays all non-Blue Ray DvD disks well because it applies video processing to them. Included are about 48 HD 1080p-mastered DvDs (see photo for titles). It is cosmetically and operationally in excellent condition. To be conservative I will rate the player 8/10, but it's really 9/10. It probably has fewer than 300 hours of usage on it since I have more than 6 DvD players that I use.
Thus, you can think of my $500 offer as paying $250 for an excellent well-made DvD player and $250 for the HD disks at $5 each. After viewing, you can always resell some of them to other HD DvD collectors.
