I'm am unloading an entire system: Totem Thunder sub, Arcam AVR400 (DSP). Totem Sttaf floorstanders, Totem Mite bookshelf / surround + center, Kimber cables. I am moving into a smaller space and this equipment is too big for it. I'm going to go with a small, active monitor system.
Each of the items I'm selling is tops in its price-point. (Pictures available upon request).
This ad is for the (cherry finish) Totem Thunder sub. (I'm an audiophile. But, I'm a technophobe, so my vocabulary for this stuff is wanting. I'll do my best). For starters, the bottom end reaches a wall-wrecking 26Hz. Even at frequencies so low, the Totem Thunder will not sport audible distortions due to the generous rubber surround enclosure. Like the rest of the Totem products, this is a rich and authoritative machine. It works equally well with music and movies.
I'm pricing each of my items $100 below where I bought them here on Audiogon. I was the second owner, which is the only reason I'm rating the Thunder 8/10. I don't think the first owner used it. It's seen 3 months minimal use here in an animal-free, smoke-free environment and is in excellent condition.
I do not have the original box because whatever the opposite of a pack-rat is, is what I am. But I use UPS who (see my reviews) packages / stabilizes my shipments expertly.
