Please read carefully. Here we have a factory original PWD mkII DAC (not an upgraded mkI unit) and a PWT transport. Both pieces are in black as shown (actual photos) and these are reference grade items. The DAC was purchased new by me about 3 years ago and the PWT transport was purchased used as part of a package. The DAC has never had the protective cover taken off of the glossy top, and although the PWT did have the cover off, I put it back on. The top of the PWT is still in near mint condition with only some very light swirl marks from dusting by the previous owner. Obviously the glossy top of the DAC has to be mint because the protective cover has never been removed. Anyway, the DAC and PWT have barely seen any use since I purchased them, and if it wasn't for a divorce and a forced downsizing I would keep them. I've had to move to a house that is 1/2 the size of my previous house and I no longer have a man cave or even a decent listening room so I will be selling off a number of high quality items I have been collecting for so many years. Getting back to these items though... As I mentioned, the DAC was purchased brand new, and includes everything that came with it as well as a professionally printed color manual (PS Audio does not include manuals with these) and I purchased the bridge card and installed it (extra$$). The panel cover that is removed from the DAC to install the bridge card is in the box that the bridge card came in and that is included as well (in case you want to remove the bridge card and sell it or whatever). When I purchased the package with the PWT transport, there was no box or remote for the transport so I contacted PS Audio and purchased a replacement double box (inner and outer) as well as a new remote and the soft cloth bag that is used to protect the unit when it's packed up. There are 2 bonuses in this package, 1 is the installed bridge card, and the other is the pure silver PS Audio HDMI 12 0.5m I2S cable. When I used these I had the DAC stacked on top of the transport (you can remove the 4 feet and the DAC will lock into place on top of the transport) and I tried plenty of variations for cables between the DAC and transport and I finally broke down and bought the 0.5m I2S cable... wow, huge difference! Look closely at the pictures. If you don't know about the PWT, it is a memory player which means it basically reads bit perfect data from the disc and stores it into memory, then plays it from memory with zero errors. What many may not know is that if you feed the PWT an internet connection via the ethernet port on the rear, it will automatically find the CD art and track info online and it will then display that info on the front panel screen (as seen in one of the pictures). The other thing many might not know is that if you have an SD memory card installed in the PWT it will store that album adn track info on the card so you will still have it even without a live internet connection which is exactly what I am showing in the picture. I could go on... the only thing to note here is that the PWT is older than the DAC as I mentioned and the display on the PWT is more reflective than the display on the DAC. What I mean is the PWT display is glossier than the DAC display. Both displays are the same in terms of brightness and so on, just that the PWT display will reflect light more readily. To put it another way, it's like the difference between semi-gloss paint and satin paint. You could say the DAC display is satin and the PWT is semi-gloss.

I would imagine that if you have read this far then you already know what these are and you should be fully aware that this is an amazing deal. The I2S cable alone last retailed for $459!

You will be getting both the PWD mkII DAC (factory original) and the PWT transport. Both of these come with professionally printed color manuals (not included by PS Audio), heavy duty 14 AWG power cords, remotes (one for each unit but they are identical), factory original soft cloth protective bags, 1 pair of factory original cotton gloves (unused), and both inner and out factory boxes for shipping. It's almost like buying them brand new. You also get the installed bridge card (version 1) and the original box for the bridge card which is now holding the cover plate from the DAC. You also get the 0.5m pure silver I2S cable and it's original packaging too. And lastly, the remote that is packed with the DAC has 2 AAA batteries installed in it, and the batteries that were in the PWT remote are inside the box that the DAC remote is in (I took them out and forgot to re-install them before I packed up the units).

These will be shipped FedEx ground with insurance for the full amount. They are both past their factory warranty at this point but they both work perfectly and I guarantee they arrive as stated, but no warranty beyond that and I am not in a position to take returns for these. Trust me, once you hear these you won't want to return them!

I'm not really interested in shipping these outside of the US at the moment. I am listing them as excellent and you will not be disappointed.

Check my feedback and buy with confidence. They are packed and ready to ship as soon as PayPal gives the OK to ship.
